Magical

Alice Wilderly was a special little girl ever since she was born.  Her mother died giving birth to her, and her dad didn’t want anything to do with her, so she lived with her grandmother.  Her grandma realized that Alice was special since Alice could walk.  Alice was about 1 years old the night her grandmother caught her playing with her toys in the living room.  And if you are asking, no, this is not the special part.  You see, that night, her grandma put her in her crib which was upstairs in her room.  Her Grandma didn’t think much of it until Alice started levitating.  She didn’t tell anyone because she thought that someone might take her away, so she made Alice stay home.  When Alice turned 3, she could levitate not only herself, but other things or people.  Her Grandmother started to look for a book that would help her teach Alice how to control her powers.  Her grandma bought and read so many books; she had to get a bigger house to put a library in it.  She learned lots of things about magic.  So when Alice turned 5, she started giving her lessons.  The next year Alice turned 6, she could fly and walk or stand or sit on water.  Alice was doing a great job with her lessons, and she was doing so good with home school, she was already at grade 6!  But even though she was good in everything, she wanted one thing her grandma was scared for her to have.  She wanted a friend.  Her grandma felt really sad because she wouldn’t let her go outside, and one day she gave in.  Alice was a beautiful 12 year old girl when she finally went outside of her house with her grandmother.  Her grandma took her to the park, where other kids hum out.  She was very excited and scared that no one would talk to her, until two kids came up to her while her grandma went to get some ice cream.

“Hello, I haven’t seen you here before, are you new?” the girl asked Alice.

“Uhh, no I am not new, I usually stay in my house.”  Alice replied blushing.

“Well no wonder we’ve never seen you!  What’s your name?”  The boy standing beside the girl asked.

“My name is Alice. Alice Wilderly. What’s yours?” Alice was surprised that they didn’t ask her why she stayed home every day.

“Well my name is Sophie.  And this is my brother Steve.”  Sophie replied.

“Well look at that, you already made some friends!  Sorry I didn’t get you guys anything.”

“Oh it’s okay.  We were just leaving anyways.  We’ve got to get home.  But hey, Alice, can we come over to your place tomorrow?  Here...here is our phone number.  Call us when you can okay?  Nice to meet you! Bye.” Sophie said while grabbing Steve and leaving.

“Okay, I will!  See you later.”  Alice screamed, since they were already almost gone.  Alice and her grandma ate their ice cream then went home.  The next day, she called her new friends and told them they could go to her house.  Every day they would go to her house, everyday something strange would happen because she still didn’t have all of the control on her powers.  Alice wanted to tell her friends about her powers, but she was scared they were going to tell someone.  She didn’t want to be separated from her grandmother or anything like that, but she wanted to have friends that liked her even if she had weird powers.  So one day when they came over, as they walked through the door, she levitated right in front of them.  When her grandma walked in the room, her mouth dropped.  Alice came down to see what they would do next.  She couldn’t believe her eyes!  She blinked real hard to make sure she saw what she was seeing.  And when she opened her eyes, there they were, levitating.

“We thought we were the only ones!  We were going to tell you today, too!” Sophie and Steve said at the same time as Alice’s mouth dropped open.  They came down and they all talked it over.    Alice’s grandmother was thrilled that Alice finally met people that were just like her.  They found out there was a lot more people that were like them on the internet, but they didn’t know how they got this way.  When they turned 18 years old, they realized that they were immortals, and they weren’t going to grow anymore, or change.  They decided to live together because of that.  But every year, when they graduated, they had to move, so no one recognizes them.  But there’s always someone after them, trying to figure out what or who they are.  But if someone does find out, there’s always a murder, or as people say a suicidal.
